Data Collection
Kalarie stores user‐provided age, weight, height, and gender on your device to calculate daily calorie goals. Your logged meals, workouts, or barcode scans also remain local. If you use AI voice input or text parsing, the transcription/classification request is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) and handled temporarily for processing; it is not stored or sold. Optional Apple HealthKit integration reads your workouts directly from HealthKit, storing the relevant calorie data in Kalarie’s local database. We do not upload or share any HealthKit data beyond your device.
